We spent a few weeks on Les Mis, then The Secret Garden. The girls can't believe I didn't introduce them to musicals earlier. Now we are listening to The Phantom of the Opera and the girls can't get enough. Rory sits and listens like this for hours, entranced.
The girls also love opera. Beverly Sills, Kathleen Battle, and Lesley Garrett are among our favorites. They want to learn to sing like them. We've already taken them to one opera, Die Zauberflote, and they were so sad when it was over.
