We Are here again at Disneyland in October. Best time of year to come. We are loving our family time together. The girls call it a family play date.
Alex is the Little Mermaid and Rory is the Red Queen. She figured out that a queen is better than a princess and she likes the idea of beheading anyone who displeases her. Alex is thrilled that everyone recognizes and calls her. Rory gets mistaken for a princess and nearly blows her top off. She is, unfortunately, very capable of showing these unfortunate, but mistaken, people how she feels about not being recognized correctly.

She insisted on riding the carousel side-saddle.
Notice her red cowgirl boots. She loves wearing them. As an awesome side-benefit, we found that they make her two inches taller, making it possible for her to go on most of the "big people rides". Now our whole family can enjoy the rides together!!
Our favorite ride experience has got to be the ferris wheel in California Adventure land. Last night was our first ride on it. Dave whipped out the camera and tried to film it. Rory thought she was going to die. Alex had been smart and rushed over to my side while she still had the chance, closed her eyes and held on for dear life. I'll post the video next. Please ignore my callused, insane laughter.
